HBCC – 2nd Annual Afternoon of Song, Sunday, September 10th, 2017
September 10 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm$20.00
Mark DuBois, my good friend and mentor, will be joining me as a Guest in our An Afternoon of Song Concert, on Sunday September 10th, 2017, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Mill Creek Pub in Orangeville. $20.00 per ticket.
We will be treating HBCC Members to an afternoon of beautiful music, featuring romantic songs and duets from well loved musicals, opera and operetta.
Proceeds for the concert will go to our Car Club’s Charity Choice, the Lighthouse in Orangeville, a Kitchen which provides decent lunches five days per week, to those unfortunate in our community.
Mark DuBois is a World Renown Lyric Tenor and Singing Instructor. He is universally acclaimed for his outstanding lyric-tenor voice, its exceptional clarity and tonal purity, and his artistry and musicianship in performance. He has performed with every major orchestra in his native Canada and with several in the U.S.A., including those of Baltimore, Boston, Buffalo, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Detroit, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Naples, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Rochester and San Francisco.
Also joining us will be Danny McErlain, Accomplished Pianist, Accompanist and Conductor. He has been an Accompanist to Canadian tenor Mark Dubois at concert settings throughout Canada and the U.S., including Roy Thomson hall, the 2007 Sherwood Music Festival in Edmonton; and with soloists Maureen Forester, Kinga Mitrowska, Gisele Fredette, Susan Cooper, and Bruce Kelly.
